Taste its wonderful food so many times awarded in the world that you will want to stay and live in the country. Its history, culture and incredible archeological monuments is an experience that you must do at least once in your life.

As someone mentioned: You could easily spend a year traveling through this gorgeous country and still not see it all. There are literally hundreds of epic places to visit in Peru, and deciding where to go will be a challenge! Peru is one of our favorite countries in the world. In fact, the first time we visited, we overstayed our visitor visas and spent nearly three months traveling this beautiful country.

And what can I find in Peru?

In this beautiful cosmopolitan country, you can find a beautiful and abundant jungle with the Amazon River bathing it and where you can spend about 3 or 4 days either in a lodge or on a cruise, there are some of the best.

You can also find a capital city. Lima, full of charm with plenty to do and eat. A highland full of abundance in its archaeology and culture, with an Inca history full of discoveries. Markets with many flavors, aromas and colors. In the highlands there is a lot of color whether in the beautiful blue sky or in the clothing of its inhabitants. Not to mention its northern beaches and many more archaeological sites.

Is it expensive to visit Peru

Peru caters to everyone, regardless of budget. Indeed, it’s one of the top cheap places to travel in South America. However, the cost of traveling in Peru depends on what you want to experience – and it’s as easy to do it on a shoestring as to really splurge on some unique tours and beautiful luxury hotels.

Depending on your lifestyle and tastes, the expense will be according to your requirements. There are people who travel on a very tight budget and must stay and know what they want taking into account their expenses. And at the other extreme, there are people who want to have everything at a very high level, with the best services always in private, with exclusive guides, high class hotels and so on. Peru is for everyone.

A mid-range budget traveler can expect to spend approximately $120 per day in Peru. This is a person who is generally staying at a mid-range accommodation that costs $50 per night, eating at a mix of $ local and $$ high-end restaurants, and paying for experiences even if they’re pricey (but not booking private tours.
