As we reported yesterday, Peru has been chosen the best international destination by National Geographic Travel magazine, which placed our country, for the second consecutive year, as the best place in the world for tourists, highlighting attractions such as the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, Cusco and the Sacred Valley. Paola Marín, director of Tourism Promotion of Promperu, said that the nomination made by National Geographic voters is given mainly for southern cities such as Cusco, Puno, Arequipa and Ica. “This magazine invites us to take a captivating journey through these regions and all the experiences have been narrated in a very interesting and powerful article highlighting the best we have in our country.
