Humantay Lake Full Day Private Tour

The day begins bright and early with a pickup from your hotel, you’ll join our Guide and have a 2-hour private drive until Mollepata to register in the Salkantay route where you have the chance to take a local breakfast on town. The ride continues for another hour until Soraypampa, the very beginning of the hike, and from where you’ll have extraordinary views of the snowy Salkantay and Humantay peaks forming a landscape without equal. Here, start the hike slowly ascending for an hour or 2 to reach Humantay Lake. As your guide leads you through these wonderlands of different shades, you’ll learn about the history of these lands, the endemic flora, and the fauna along with other features of the Peruvian highlands.

Finally, tucked away above 4300 meters above sea level, you’ll see the majestic Humantay Lake which is on foot of the same-named glacier mountain. Take this time for magical photoshoots, explore the place for an hour or two and even dip into its turquoise waters. At the end of exploration, you’ll take a stroll back to Soraypampa to take the vehicle and move to your Traditional Restauran for a rewarding buffet lunch. Lastly, sit back and relax as you are taken on a private vehicle back to Cusco arriving by the evening. No technical skills are needed, just pure spirit, we’ll have everything set with the necessary equipment so you can enjoy the experience to the fullest!
