Itinerary

Day 1

Cusco - Wiñayhuayna - Aguas Calientes

Your journey begins with a private transfer from Cusco to Km 82. After meeting your support team (chef, assistant, and porters), you will begin a gentle hike along the Urubamba River. We will visit the Llactapata site while enjoying stunning views of the Veronica glacier.

  • The Peru & U Touch: Upon arrival at Wayllabamba, your luxury camp will be ready. A relaxing massage awaits, followed by a gourmet dinner before you retire to your suite-tent.

  • Distance: 10 km / Difficulty: Moderate.

Day 2

Conquering Dead Woman’s Pass

This is the most challenging and rewarding day. We ascend toward the Warmiwañusca Pass (4,215 m / 13,828 ft). The effort is rewarded with an exclusive lunch in the clouds with panoramic views.

  • Seamless Comfort: We descend into the Pacaymayo Valley, where a hot shower and the warmth of our team await to celebrate the day’s achievement.

  • Distance: 12 km / Difficulty: Challenging.

Day 3

The Cloud Forest and Living History

A day of pure visual magic. We will cross Incan tunnels and visit Sayacmarca and Phuyupatamarca, the “Town Above the Clouds.” The biodiversity of the cloud forest will surround you at every step.

  • Signature Experience: Our camp at Phuyupatamarca is one of the most scenic in the world. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset while our chef prepares a signature farewell dinner.

  • Distance: 11 km / Difficulty: Moderate.

Day 4

The Encounter with the Crystal City

We rise early to reach Wiñay Wayna and, finally, the Inti Punku. The view of Machu Picchu at sunrise is the crowning moment of your trip. Enjoy a detailed private tour of the citadel before descending to Aguas Calientes.

  • Return in Style: Return to Ollantaytambo aboard the Vistadome train (with an optional upgrade to the luxury Belmond Hiram Bingham) and a final private transfer to your hotel in Cusco.
