We’ll pick you up at your Puno accommodation and begin this full-day adventure with a short drive to the Puno Lake Port to board a speedboat. Firstly we will be heading towards Uros Island, which is made out completely of reeds collected from the same Lake. Here, you’ll meet the locals to learn about their ancestral and peculiar ways of living and see how tremendously skilled fishers and hunters are. You can even have a ride on one of their Totora boats.
On the second part of the tour, we’ll move forward to Taquile, an enchanting and important island whose inhabitants are completely different from the Uros. You’ll feel like the star guest here as you’ll have a delicious meal served by the cooperative of the island followed by a demonstration of the skilled work of the local weavers. After soaking in the wonderful views over the Lake, we’ll take you back to Puno along with the reflected lights of sunset.
